Teach English in China

We need native English speakers to teach English in various schools in China. You do not need to be an experienced teacher to be qualified, but you need to have the following:

1.
You must be a native English speaker,
2.     You must have a BA or BS.
3.     You must want to be a teacher.
4.     You must be prepared to teach English in China 2 semesters.

If you have all above, you can choose to teach, in China, at kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools or even colleges if you have a TESOL or TESL. (Google TESOL online, you will get all kinds of schools offering courses that will lead to a TESOL or TESL for $200-300 for as little as 60 hours.)

What you will get:
1.     Monthly salary between 4,000 to 6,000 Yan. Plus about 2,000 Yan travel allowance per year and paid national holidays. (in 2007, the average monthly per capita income for the 10 wealthiest Chinese cities is a little under 2,000 Yan,)
2.     Free accommodation. You will have your own or share an apartment with 1 or 2 people. The apartments are well decorated, fully furnished with all necessary appliances, supply of hot water, cooking utensils and linen. Usually, these apartments are near the schools you teach or right on campus.
3.     The schools will reimburse you a part of or all the airfare of one round trip.
4.     The school will provide basic health insurance.
5.     The TV, internet and utilities are usually paid for by the schools.
6.     Most schools allow you to sit in any classes they offer.

What will you do:
You will teach English for about 20-25 classes a week.
Most schools we work with are in Zhejiang Province, in, around or near Hangzhou. Zhejiang () is an eastern coastal Province, located in the Yangtze River Delta. Its economy is highly developed. It ranks number 4 in total GDP, number 1 in per capita GDP and number 3 in per capita income. Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province. It is located 110 miles southwest of Shanghai.  Hangzhou has been one of the economically and culturally wealthiest cities in China since southern Song Dynasty when it served as the capital of China from the early 12th century until the Mongol invasion of 1276. For Chinese people, it is one of the 2 celestial cities God sent to the earth for people to enjoy their lives. The GDP per capita was $8,063), ranked no. 7 among Chinese cities. The 2005 overall rank of Hangzhou among all the Chinese cities is No.5. Forbes magazine has  ranked Hangzhou the number 1 city in China for business in the last 7 years. (Please see the brief introductions to Zhejiang and Hangzhou.)
The school semesters usually start in the beginning of September and the mid February. You can stay at the school, travel in China or come home for the vacations.
